BOOK CLUB

The Book Club selection for April is "Nickle and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich. We meet on Thursday, April 19th on the third floor of the Library at 1:30 p.m.

CAMERA CLUB

On March 27 David Kalman will demonstrate how to make winning still life photos. Bring your camera or a CF memory card to the meeting and go home with your own great photo. The meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. in the Y Board Room.

HIKING GROUP

March 28th will be "Blueberry Pruning Day". We drive into the orchard and tackle a couple of the rows. No experience necessary, and everyone is invited, including wives who are much more proficient pickers than we are. The reward is a picking day when we can drive in instead of hiking more than a mile to get to the bushes. Last year the birds beat us to most of the berries so this year we'll attack about July 1 in hopes of getting there first. April 4th will be a hike at Longshore. If you have any questions, contact Bud Martin at 227-2448 or budmart@optonline.net .
