Thomas C. Grant, Vice President, Strategic Wealth Planning with MW Financial Group in Farmington, CT, will speak at the weekly meeting of the Y's Men of Westport/Weston on Thursday, November 9th. His talk is titled "Dramatic changes in Retirement Planning for the Young and Older." The meeting begins at 10AM at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road East.

He will talk about ways of achieving your financial objectives in the accumulation and retention of wealth, while showing how to protect your family and assets from financial risk. He will outline step by step how this is accomplished by designing a personalized plan that reflects your personal values and goals.

Tom Grant is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Registered Investment Advisor. His extensive experience and diversified services include planning in these areas: life insurance, retirement, disability insurance, investments, college funds, estate, employer and employee benefit and long-term care.

Grant, who has a bachelor's Degree from the University of Vermont, is licensed as a Life, Health & Accident Producer & Variable Contracts in CT, and most states. He and his wife, Betsy, reside in Guilford and they have three children. Tom has spoken nationally on retirement, estate and charitable planning. He participates on many boards of charitable organizations and has been committed to the financial well being his clients since 1973.
