Andrew Banoff, the President & CEO of the Jewish Home for the Elderly will speak to the Y's Men of Westport/Weston. His subject is The Evolution of Senior Living – Why it Does Matter to You?” The meeting begins at 10AM at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road East .
Mr. Banoff's presentation will include why we are entering the “Perfect Storm” in the coming decade, and how the Senior Living marketplace is adapting to meet the needs of Baby Boomers. Issues such as Life Care Contracts, Long Term Care Insurance, Housing Options and Consumer Choice will be addressed.
Mr. Banoff is the President & CEO of The Jewish Home for the Elderly, a 360-bed skilled nursing facility, which is the second largest in Connecticut . Programs of excellence include Dementia, Osteoarthritis and Post-Acute Rehab Services. Community based services include Adult Day Care, Non-Medical Home Care and the Institute on Aging.
Mr. Banoff previously served as the Executive Vice President of St. Vincent's Health Services – a 391-bed acute care teaching hospital in Bridgeport , CT , and a member of Ascension Health – the nation's largest non-profit healthcare system. He has also been the President & CEO of Connecticut Health Enterprises, a managed care contracting and physician practice management company, Vice President of Stamford Health System, and Vice President of New York Downtown Hospital. Andrew is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the Board of Directors of several organizations, including the Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS), Connecticut Association of Not-for-profit Providers for the Aging (CANPFA), and Connecticut Alliance for Long Term Care (CALTC).
