TRIPS AND TRAVEL

Feb 24

Wednesday, February 24th. “Lincoln Day” in New
York. New York Historical Society Exhibit re
Lincoln’s involvement with New York City. Lunch,
followed by guided tour of Lincoln Center. Car pooling,
Gus Porter is leading.

Mar 5 Tour of Staples High School. Meeting in the Staples Parking Lot for a 3.00p.m. "Start Tour Time"
We have a Group of 18, but could probably handle a few more.
Mar 19 Tour of the State Capitol, Lunch and a Visit to the Connecticut Legislature. This trip is being coordinated with Senator Boucher's Staff, and I will be contacting Representative Mioli's Office as well.
Mar 23 Tuesday, March 23rd. Dinner at “Blue Lemon”
Restaurant, Westport. Jeff Hare is coordinating.
Mar 26 Friday, March 26th, is the final cut-off for the Scottish Trip.
There is still room for one or two more couples. Trip
will be from June 9th till June 19th.
Apr 21


Wednesday, April 21st. “Annie Get Your Gun” at
Goodspeed Opera House, Lunch at Griswold Inn Essex.
Warren Rossel is coordinating.


Policy on payment/refund of fees - Reservations for short trips (one to three days) will be confirmed only after payment of the total fee, on a 'first come, first served' basis. If a member has a confirmed reservation and decides for any reason that they do not wish to participate they will be given a full refund provided that the refund will not result in increased cost to the other participants or the Y's Men.  (On three day trips, reservations will be confirmed based on payment of an announced deposit.  Trip cancellation insurance may be included in the price or offered as an option.)
