The Current Events Discussion Group

The Current Events Discussion Group is a small group of members who meet weekly to discuss topics of mutual interest inspired by current events.

At present, there is one group which meets Fridays at the Saugatuck Congregational Church at 10 AM for an hour-long discussion. The topic to be discussed has been selected by consensus at the previous meeting. Typically 6-8 participants join. The goal is to keep the number at 8 max who actually show up, so that everyone attending can actively participate in the discussion. An additional group has been run in the past when there was more demand. If we start to get too many we will split out a session on another day.
