As of September 2nd, 2025 the Y’s Men Investment Club is looking for one new member who actively invests in stocks and will be able to participate in person in 75% of our meetings

We are a small group that currently meets every other Wednesday at Temple Israel in Westport Ct. We arrive by 10AM for bagels and coffee, “shmooze” and get down to business by 10:30 AM. The meeting generally lasts one and a half hours. The Club is a Limited Partnership with a maximum of 18 members who are non -professional investors, but with a wide range of business and investment acumen. Each member has made an investment in the portfolio which provides an equal share of ownership.

Should he desire, the member can “cash out” at any time at the then current portfolio value. The club has been in operation for over 30 years with an overall positive performance. During this period, it has managed a portfolio of shares in public company created by and agreed to by a majority of attending members. In addition, members can expand their knowledge of investing, provide new ideas on investments, share perspectives on the economy and related items such as tax, retirement and estate issues.

If you are interested in the stock market, are looking to invest in and shape your own portfolio, and would like to socialize with like-minded Y’s Men, you might consider becoming a member of this club. An investment in the portfolio at the then current value is required.
