Meetings of the Y’s Men’s Genealogy Club had been held at the Weston High School Library in the Computer Lab, 115 School Road, Weston, CT, so that we can take advantage of their fine computer lab. We also meet occasionally at the Weston Public Library, because they have access to many fine genealogical data bases.

We had been meeting on the second Tuesday of the month (from September thru May) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Unfortunately, attendance at recent meetings has dropped off and so we are on hold for the time being.

The Weston Public Library has excellent access to online databases and welcome us any time that they are open.

All are welcome, from beginner to seasoned genealogist.

If you have a laptop, you may want to bring it. If you have a laptop, I suggest that you get a copy of Family Tree Maker, which is the software that most of us are using. You can get it at Walmart and other places for about $30 + tax. If you need help installing it, I would be happy to assist.
